BARRACUDA – Principal/Senior Software Engineers - award-winning cybersecurity company - Chelmsford MA/Hybrid
We are seeking principal and senior software engineers - for SRE/devops roles - for our growing teams made up of local/hybrid and remote engineers. Our products protect our customers against a growing number of security threats. As an SRE, you will be involved in designing and developing innovative solutions to improve the scalability, security, and resiliency of a SaaS product running in the public cloud. You will be involved in infrastructure architecture and system design, application deployment, and performance management for the systems and services that deploy and run critical customer-facing applications.
We're looking for collaborative engineers who drive innovative solutions and take ownership of delivering positive business outcomes for our customers.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for mission critical customer-facing services
- Build scalable, highly available, secure services deployed to AWS
- Troubleshoot and mitigate production issues
- Implement observability and monitoring to measure service performance
- Participate in PagerDuty rotation
- Understand product-wide ecosystem dependencies, impact, and integration with other products and services
- Partner with product managers to define strategy and business requirements for underlying infrastructure components
- Mentor less experienced team members in operational and SRE best practices
- Lead infrastructure architecture and system design, deployment, and performance initiatives
