DHIS2 is a free and open source global public good in use at the national level in more than 70 mostly low- and middle-income countries [1] - making it the largest health information system in the world. It is a general-purpose data collection and analytics platform used to manage routine health service delivery as well as interventions targeting COVID-19, Malaria, HIV/Aids, Tuberculosis, vaccination, maternal and child health, and more.

DHIS2 is developed by the Health Information Systems Program (HISP) at the University of Oslo (UiO) in Norway with support from norad.no, PEPFAR, the Global Fund, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, CDC, the Global Vaccine Alliance, UNICEF, WHO, and others.

The core DHIS2 development team is remote-first with a preference for CET and neighboring timezones. We also have onsite positions available in Oslo, Norway. We build an on-premise server product, more than 30 bundled web applications, and a suite of platform tools for application developers working in local contexts [2].

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

Okay does Strong Customer Authentication and transaction security for mobile devices. We're looking for people with a strong interest in computer security, who would like to work on securing payments on Android and iOS. Experience programming in Java, Kotlin, Flutter, Swift and Objective C is welcome. You would be expected to work mostly on the front-end, but some back-end knowledge can be useful, as you would eventually be one of the people responsible for managing our SDK releases. Onsite in beautiful Norway is most likely required, as our customers are very security conscious.

You would be working with a team from all over the world, mostly located in a really nice small town a couple of hours by train south of Oslo, Norway.
