Solstice Initiative is a nonprofit that empowers traditionally excluded communities towards a just and inclusive clean energy transition. We're seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team and continue the development of our EnergyScore product and assist in Solstice’s research to expand access to clean energy in the United States. EnergyScore, an alternative to traditional credit scores, is a machine learning-based algorithm that improves access to clean energy products for low-to-moderate-income households. By predicting the probability of utility payment delinquency using several consumer datasets, Solstice can ensure better accuracy in consumer underwriting for clean energy while making the industry more inclusive.

Industry Dive is a leading business journalism company. We are looking for a full-stack engineer who is curious and motivated to join our engineering team. We use a variety of open-source technology, and our core application is written in Python/Django. Our development stack includes Git/GitLab and Google Cloud Platform. We spend most of our time building Industry Dive's main product — a series of consumer-facing, mobile-optimized news sites with an internal content management system. Typical work includes building new features, fixing bugs and improving performance. We are cross-functional, so you'll have the opportunity to work on many other projects, including data products, email communication tools, and Developer Operations. This role reports to the scrum team’s Software Development Manager.
