Prophecy.io | Principal UX Designer | Palo Alto, CA ONSITE | Full-time

Prophecy is a low-code data engineering product that provides a visual environment to design, deploy and manage data pipelines.

We’re looking for our first UX designer. Our product is quite complex, so we’re thinking a degree in engineering (perhaps something similar to Stanford CS HCI specialization), and UX experience in data or visualization space will be a good fit.

We pay well and have a great team - we’re friendly and everyone is very good at what they do.

If you think you might be good at this, just reach out to me at raj@prophecy.io

Eleos Technologies (https://eleostech.com) | Multiple: Infrastructure Observability / Senior iOS Software Engineer | Permanently Remote (US-based applicants only) | Full time

Eleos Technologies is a growing 10-year-old company building communication software for truck drivers and field workers. We’re helping a diverse mix of customers—from mom and pop operations to household names—improve how they communicate with their employees by tackling information overload, reducing phone calls, and eliminating obsolete technologies. Our app is used by thousands of big-rig and small truck drivers, day and night, every day, and we've been on a sustainable growth curve for long enough that we're ready to grow our backend team!

Our driver-facing mobile app does some unique things, including assisting drivers with planning their trips, finding stopovers, managing their electronic duty log, and more. These features are (with a couple of specific and thoughtful exceptions) natively implemented, and we take the performance and stability of the app seriously.

Both roles are listed here with a bit more description, and you can apply there, or feel free to reach out to me directly (email is in my about/bio) if you don't trust throwing your resume into a large hiring tool! https://eleostech.com/careers

(I'm the hiring manager and the actual manager for the role, so I'll see it either way.)

Intrepid Women | Consultant Full-Stack Engineer | Remote | Est. 20-30 hours/week | www.bibti.app

Intrepid Women, Inc. is proud to create the bibti app a peer-to-peer walking application for women to help them navigate public spaces more safely and comfortably.

What makes us different? While there are other safety apps on the market, they mainly employ surveillance technology (location sharing) or connections to emergency services (like SOS buttons). These features are valuable but do not do anything to protect female travelers in real time. We are committed to creating a proactive solution to protect women by scaling strategies that they already use: walking with another person.

We are an early-stage start-up backed by Angel investors, launching in the states with a global vision. Currently are at the pre-seed stage and have raised 25% of our investment goal after one month. We already have 6 months of runway with our current capitalization, and we are raising more. We are not content to simply dream big, we bring them into reality. For more about us, visit our website at www.bibti.app .

Skills: Flutter/Dart OR React Native / TypeScript / REST API development experience / Deployment experience (AWS or Heroku, preferred) / Database experience (PostgreSQL or MongoDB) /Node JS & Express

We seek a passionate and creative full stack developer with mobile experience to join our team as an early member. This role is a good fit for someone who is looking to take creative control over a greenfield project. This position will work closely with the founder to create a product roadmap from the initial beta app through the scaling process.

You will be implementing designs, core backend and frontend functionalities, and backend specs. The engineer will have control over the creation and delivery of the product with proper crediting of work.

For a full-job description email emily@bibti.app or see the post on the parent website at https://www.theintrepidwoman.com/report-writer

Jawa | Frontend or Full-stack | Remote (US/CA timezones) | Part-time or Contract

https://jawa.gg is the place for gamers to buy and sell PC parts. We're building a community-driven marketplace where great parts (and builds!) are sold at reasonable prices, without scalping.

We're currently in beta and have a super engaged community on Discord. These are early days, and we're looking for a frontend of full-stack developer to join our small team on a contract basis. As our first engineering hire you'd be working closely with the founders to make our site excellent for our users - especially custom PC builders.

Our tech stack includes React + Next.js on the frontend, and Node.js + Typescript + MySQL on the backend. Ideal candidates would have some experience with the frontend stack and enthusiasm for PC building and gaming. We're a fully-remote team and are keeping things lean right now, but if the fit is right we'd love for this to transition into a full-time position as the company grows.

If this sounds interesting, shoot me a message at andrew at jawa.gg.
