Embraer, the third-largest producer of civil aircraft, is hiring. We’re building https://beacon.works, a tool for airlines and mechanics to manage unscheduled aircraft maintenance. This has the potential to be a very high-value product for the aviation industry and could make air travel much better for everyone.

My team is hiring a Cloud/Network Development Engineer.

We are responsible for building and operating a secure, scalable, and reliable public network Edge layer that connects browsers with our cloud products, applies business-wide compliance and security measures, and load-balances traffic internally.

Basically: We run Atlassian's TCP and HTTP load-balancers on AWS EC2 and Cloudfront, and handle DOS protection, IP blocking, Certificate and DNS management etc. :)

Skills which would be useful for the role:

    Python development experience.
    CICD (Git, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc)
    Infrastructure as Code: Cloudformation, Terraform
    AWS Services like EC2, VPC, Route53, ELB/ALB/NLB etc.
    Modern web application delivery and architecture (TCP/HTTP/TLS, CDN)
    L4-L7 proxy technologies such as Envoy, Nginx, F5, HAProxy
    SignalFX, Splunk and other monitoring systems
