location: croatia (planning relocation to central/north asia)

remote: yes

willing to relocate: yes

technologies: Go (7+ years production), LLVM, distributed systems, blockchain protocol design, CSP concurrency, compiler engineering, Nostr protocol, linux systems programming

email: me@mleku.dev

systems engineer, 7+ years professional Go. no degree - production code is the credential. mostly blockchain projects, the highlights can be seen at https://git.smesh.lol

currently building moxie, a self-hosting compiler descended from TinyGo. no GC, deterministic scope-based memory management, CSP-pure concurrency from single threaded domains via kernel threads with duplex buffered channels for coordination between them. compiles to LLVM IR. https://git.smesh.lol/moxie

gnarl-hamadryad is a post-quantum cryptographic library built on Bethe lattice geometry, implementing a complete stack from hashing through signatures, key encapsulation, homomorphic encryption, multi-party computation, and searchable encryption - all with security reducible to the shortest vector problem (SVP/SIS) on ideal lattices. it uses two novel SWIFFT hash variants (Hamadryad over Z_257 with 448-bit output, Gnarl over Z_271 with three resolution tiers at 243/216/54 bits), Schnorr signatures on the non-split torus of SL(2, Z_P) with 216-bit keys and 432-bit signatures, Ring-LWE key encapsulation with CCA2 security, BGV homomorphic encryption supporting depth-1 multiplicative circuits, and an authenticated encryption wire format (GnarlWire) using ChaCha20 with GnarlMid MAC - the entire system designed so that breaking any component requires solving the same hard problem: finding short vectors in ideal lattices. https://git.smesh.lol/gnarl-hamadryad

also built and operate a Nostr relay and web app stack (smesh/orly) with NIP-42 AUTH enforcement and MLS encrypted messaging. browser-only, no npm, no bundler, multi-WebWorker architecture. https://smesh.lol (WIP, written using Moxie compiled to WASM). https://git.smesh.lol/smesh

built iskra, a lattice-based semantic engine using Bethe lattice/Cayley tree structure for translation and reasoning with continuous learning - not transformer-based, runs on modest hardware. already fairly reasonable quality japanese/english translation working. (also written in Moxie). https://git.smesh.lol/iskra

looking for: distributed systems, infrastructure, blockchain/protocol engineering, compiler tooling, or anything where Go and systems thinking intersect. remote strongly preferred. comfortable with ambiguity, solo ownership, and building from scratch.

https://git.smesh.lol for the code. https://git.smesh.lol/resume/raw/resume-2026.pdf for the resume.

Bio: Full-stack engineer with 20+ years of manual development experience, including 7 years at Gaia Online in California and 3 years at Teaching Textbooks in Oklahoma. I don't use AI to guess logic solutions; I manually audit, optimize, and refactor heavy-load web applications and game engines.

The time zone Advantage: Because I operate from Southeast Asia, I can pick up the baton during your late afternoon, write clean architecture while your domestic team sleeps, and have production-ready deployments fully compiled in your repository the exact minute your US engineers log in for their morning stand-up.

Location: Germany

Remote: Yes

Willing to relocate: Yes, especially for great fit

Technologies: Great with TypeScript. macOS development, especially around accessibility APIs e.g. built a platform to let agents interact with apps (getinvoke.com). Good with React, Svelte, Vue, Solid, all things frontend. Good with UI/UX, would consider myself a strong Design Engineer. Good with Rust. Some audio-related work. A little cryptography experience (wrote provably-fair gaming algorithms).

I'm Darjan, a developer who has spent the last 6+ years building SaaS products for US and European startups.

I've shipped hundreds of thousands of lines of production code across recruiting, HR, equity management, and AI products. Before AI-assisted development existed, I learned how to build software the hard way. Today I combine that engineering foundation with AI tools to ship faster, cleaner, and more maintainable products.

In Q2 of this year I built CloudsForge, desktop application that lets creators run open-source AI video generation models on rented cloud GPUs without dealing with infrastructure, environments, or setup. I took it from idea to production in roughly two months, handling architecture, UI/UX, Electron, React, Node.js, cloud orchestration, deployment, documentation, and onboarding.

Location: Bosnia and Herzegovina (CET) - but used to working and overlaping with US timezones

Willing to relocate: No

Technologies: React, Vue.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Express, Electron, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Tailwind CSS, Redux, Zustand, Vercel, Python, AI-assisted development, UI/UX Design, MCPs

Let's build that solution you always wanted!

Full-stack software engineer who enjoys solving difficult technical problems and building systems that are reliable, maintainable, and useful. My experience spans full-stack development, API integrations, workflow automation, and quality engineering, and I'm particularly drawn to understanding complex systems and improving how they work.

I am extremely analytical and logical, but also very creative, socially outgoing, and comfortable operating across a very wide range of disciplines. (For example, although I am a strong coder, I also have excellent oral and written communication.) Because I think in terms that are concrete but conceptual, I excel both in technical and non-technical environments, and beyond software development, I've also been involved in workflow automation, technical communication, and QA. I'm a very fast learner and I'm always willing to explore new technologies/better ways of doing things.
