We are looking for an experienced frontend developer to help us lead our development projects. You will be responsible for leading our team of outsourced developers and to work with the design and ideation team to come up with intelligent solutions to many different types of problems and challenges.

The perfect candidate is an expert in:

Javascript, CSS/HTML, React, node.js and other web technologies who understand how to connect with various backend frameworks such as AWS, Twilio, Agora etc.

Join us as the founding engineer at our two-person, fully funded startup. We're looking for a senior frontend engineer well-versed with the intricacies of building large React applications. You will develop and architect a greenfield application from the ground floor and help shape a world-class engineering team.

SimpleCircle helps craft brewers distribute their products to local points of sale, with an operations management platform that automates clerical chores, while supercharging sales with superior mobile tools and product analytics. Our customers look to us to take care of a large chunk of running the business side of their breweries so they can focus on the beer.

Navio is a seed-stage company building software tools that help cancer patients and their doctors navigate to a better standard of care. Ultimately, we’ll change the narrative around highly lethal cancers like Glioblastoma, where standard treatment offers no hope.

Navio’s development team is remote-first with foci in Portland and the Bay. We use modern tools like such as Kotlin, React, GraphQL, Kafka and Elasticsearch and run at AWS using Terraform Infrastructure as Code, Docker / ECS, RDS Postgres, Lambda / Serverless, etc. We’re unencumbered by legacy code and are writing our systems from the ground up the right way.

The Assessments team at Indeed was born out of a YCombinator startup (Interviewed YCS15) that was acquired by Indeed in 2017. We now administer over 100MM skills assessments per year to job seekers worldwide. We have two open positions for full-stack engineers who want to help us tackle a variety of scaling and product challenges. I'm biased, but IMO we're a great team doing interesting work for a company with a genuinely positive mission.

In addition to our startup roots, our team is a bit unique in that (a) we own both employer and job seeker-facing deployables, (b) we work in both Java and Ruby on Rails codebases, and (c) we were heavily remote even before COVID. For these new roles we support remote in most US states, but working from our Austin office when it reopens is also an option.
