MaFi Games | Senior SWE/Game dev | Contract preferred | Remote | C#

Hi, I’m the co-founder of MaFi Games – an indie studio behind the game Captain of Industry. We are a small but passionate team who gave up their jobs at Google and Nvidia to pursue building the best factory simulation game possible, and we need more hands!

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to grow the team and accelerate our progress. We strongly prefer candidates with a background in game development, experience with 3D graphics, and performance optimizations.

Some reasons you’d enjoy working with us:

* A multicultural, collaborative, and innovative work environment where your voice is heard.

* Fully remote job with flexible working hours and vacation schedule.

* Long-term full-time collaboration (not a fixed-term contract).

* High quality C# code base, code reviews, tests.

* High work satisfaction, work on a popular video game with a wonderful community.

* No bureaucracy, 1 regular meeting per week.

As an example of our technical work see https://www.captain-of-industry.com/post/cd-31. We also have a unique signal-free train system: https://www.captain-of-industry.com/post/cd-46

If interested, please see the detailed info, requirements, and application instructions at https://www.captain-of-industry.com/jobs, thanks!

Note: We are also looking for a 2D game UI/UX designer and a SFX artist.

Unto Labs | San Francisco, CA | ONSITE (Hybrid OK), REMOTE (US) | Full-Time Unto Labs is developing the Thru Layer-1 blockchain (https://thru.org)

We recently announced $14.4 million in funding to make blockchains & digital assets useful for the world. Founded by Jump Crypto alumni and core contributors to the Solana protocol and the Firedancer client (https://github.com/firedancer-io/firedancer), we’re tackling fundamental scalability, performance, and usability challenges in distributed ledgers.

Our runtime conforms to the RISC-V specification—moving away from domain-specific VMs, DSLs, and bespoke compiler toolchains that limit developer and institutional adoption. Components are developed in C for maximal control over performance and resource usage.

We believe there is a unique window of opportunity to developer fairer, more accessible, and more global financial products on resilient public blockchains.

You can check out our docs and open-source developer tooling at docs.thru.org and https://github.com/Unto-Labs/thru/

HouseAccount | https://www.houseaccount.com/ | AI Engineer | Full-time or Part-time | Remote only (Eastern Time USA)

Say you have a broken pipe, a door to replace, a TV to mount. How easily can you find a handyman to get it done? At HouseAccount we want to harness the power of AI to improve the home services space.

Currently we integrate with OpenAI Platform to ask follow-up questions so handymen can get a thorough description of the issue and provide a quote right away. I am looking to hire a developer to make this integration even smarter, anything from image recognition to recommender systems.

I am the sole developer and I'm looking to be joined by someone autonomous and with a lot of energy. You will be responsible for tinkering with existing LLM models (how to rewrite the prompt to balance tokens and speed?) and for coming up with your own innovative solutions (can a homeowner take a picture of a broken pipe and get an instant quote and availability?).

We are a startup, which means you will work autonomously and you will own the pipeline without any "corporation bureaucracy". Your task is to build something innovative where the outcome speaks for itself.

If this sounds like you, submit your application to https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/houseaccount/jobs/495978200... Written communication skills are paramount so a cover letter is expected. Include "HackerNews" to get screening priority.

Thanks.
