August Health | Frontend Engineer | Distributed team (USA-based) | Full-time

We're looking for an experienced frontend developer to join us, especially someone with several years of experience building and shipping complex, consumer-facing applications.

  - Technologies we use & expect you to have significant experience in: React, TypeScript.
  - Technologies we use, but don't expect you to have experience in: Scala/Play, Protobuf, Postgres
Our development team is a small group of capable engineers and we like to balance building thoughtfully with getting things shipped. The position offers the opportunity to deeply understand our problem space and channel compassion for the experiences of older adults into building a mission-driven, elegant, and intuitive product.

Stuff we'd look for:

  - 4+ years professional experience as a software engineer familiar with building customer facing frontends
  - Ability and desire to mentor other engineers
  - Ability to thrive in a startup environment that’s full of ambiguity - experience balancing tradeoffs to make complex decisions where there is no ‘right’ answer
  - Good communication and personal skills; ability to interact and work well with the team
  - Interest in development of company culture and its reflection in our engineering practices
Our team of seven has technical, healthcare and company-building backgrounds. We have prior experience at companies like Apple, Google, Landmark Health, and Adobe. Together, we’ve co-founded and exited multiple companies, managed large engineering and product teams, shipped features used by hundreds of millions of users, and led clinical teams supporting thousands of patients. We are very well funded by a group of top tier Silicon Valley investors and are working with some of the largest senior care organizations in the country.

Target | Full Stack Lead Engineer - Cyber Security | Minneapolis (Brooklyn Park), MN or Remote (US) Full-time https://jobs.target.com/job/brooklyn-park/lead-engineer-secu...

New job posting for a Lead Engineer to work in our group. Javascript and Node.js heavy. Vue.js experience is great, but not required. GCP experience also great. Work on new and existing tooling to monitor our internal and external web facing attack surface and look for threats to our org and our guests. It's a role in Cyber Security but no security experience is required. Great role for a developer looking to get into the security space.

If you're a developer who enjoys bug bounties, reverse engineering malicious code, trying to get APIs to do things they're not supposed to, etc this may be a great fit for you. Remote available with minimal travel required (typically just quarterly onsites for planning, etc). Flexible work arrangements for onsite workers.

Very small team that will be moving fast with minimal overhead and lots of room for innovation and testing out novel ideas.

Snowflake | Software Engineers, Senior Product Manager | Onsite/Hybrid | Full Time | Berlin, DE (relocation possible) | https://snowflake.com

We're looking to expand our presence in Berlin across our product teams. The Berlin office is one of five engineering centers globally and is growing very quickly. We work on tons of different parts of the core Snowflake platform; however, our mission is to make Snowflake more flexibile and more performant.

In particular, I'm looking to add a Principal Software Engineer to my team to help drive some strategic projects. You'll get to work with some of the best minds in database technology and distributed systems and help drive technical vision for a team of 20+ engineers.

I also promised a colleague that I'd plug the Senior Product Manager role that he has open! We're looking to add a high-level Product Manager to help expand the types of workloads we support. We currently only have one product manager so you'd be part of the "founding" product management team.

Senior Product Manager: https://careers.snowflake.com/us/en/job/5685575002/Senior-Pr...

Principal Software Engineer: https://careers.snowflake.com/us/en/job/5243880002/Principal...

Obviously, we have tons of other roles open in Berlin and across the globe. I'm happy to chat about those as well. Email in bio.
