This is just a thought, but saying "Willing to relocate: Not unless the perfect opportunity came up" might be filtering in ways you'd find undesirable. If you say "Willing to relocate: yes" you'll have a chance to decide what's perfect. Otherwise, everyone else is left to decide what's perfect for you, and may err on the side of not reaching out.

That's a really great point! I would edit, but now your comment has etched that answer permanently in the annals of history :) But I'll remember that in the future.

Looking for long-term remote employment.

8+ years experience. Currently a lead front-end developer on a couple AngularJS & TypeScript projects. Main focus is on code architecture and UI/UX design and implementation.

In the past I have worked on Java APIs, Android applications, Mac desktop app, Wordpress sites and plugins, in addition to hobby projects in Go and Python. I'm comfortable on the command line as well as designing UIs; I enjoy building apps from start to finish -- from business requirement definition and data architecture to UI design and implementation.

Reach out if you need someone to pick up an existing application or start a new one. I learn quick and can adapt to your stack, but prefer working with front-end-heavy applications with lean server APIs.

I've been working as a fullstack webdev for 4y+ and for YC video companies for 1.5y. I've designed, built and deployed a chat service used by 350k users simultaneously that is now Open-Source (https://github.com/geekuillaume/chatup). I've built and deployed a custom live video CDN handling more than 7PB of data per month. I'm part of the managing team of BoostInLyon, a early-stage startup accelerator in France. Now looking for a full-time remote job to invest myself more in the product.
