TravelTime is a company offering time and location-based services via an API and a set of plugins, which enable users to search location data using minutes rather than miles. It's used on websites to search and filter location data or added as a data layer for GIS analytics.

We're looking for a person to own and develop geocoding part of our services. We currently have geocoding endpoint based on Nominatim geocoding back-end, we have a road map of how we want to develop it further.

Geocoding project stack: Scala, ZIO, ElasticSearch, Docker, Scalaz, Akka, Play, PHP, ...

The role:

We're looking for a seasoned senior full-stack engineer with expertise in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and REST APIs. You're a self-starter with good communication skills who enjoys working in a small team, can design and implement solutions to complex problems, as well as troubleshoot, identify, and resolve server-side and client-side issues.

Experience with websockets, Redis, MongoDB, and AWS is a plus. Experience with Hapi, Terraform, identity management, in-browser game development, audio/video streaming, and message queues is a big plus.

Candidates with experience in technologies such as Vue, Express, or other cloud providers (ie. GCP, Azure), are encouraged to apply.
