Anvil | Software Developers | Cambridge, UK | On-site/Semi-Remote | Full-time, Part-time, Flexible | https://anvil.works/jobs

Help us fix web development by building better dev tools!

Traditional web development is incredibly complicated – a typical app requires Javascript, HTML, CSS, Python, SQL, and frameworks coming out of your ears. So we built Anvil (https://anvil.works): a simpler way for anyone to build full-stack web apps, entirely in Python.

We make an open-source web framework, an online code editor, a GUI builder, and a PaaS hosting platform. We're bootstrapped, profitable, and growing fast :)

We're hiring at all levels, front-end and back-end. Whatever skills you join us with, you'll eventually be working over the full stack, including:

* Our code editor and GUI builder (JS, React)

* Our API router and editor backend (Clojure)

* Our front-end UI toolkit (JS, Python)

* Our back-end runtime (Python)

* Our Python-to-JS compiler (JS, Python)

If that sounds like fun, read the full job spec: https://anvil.works/jobs

Cortx | Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Deep Learning (and many other roles!) | Baltimore, Maryland | Onsite, Full-time | VISA Sponsorship Available

Cortx is a profitable, stable, and growing artificial intelligence startup that is building an NLP product that automatically writes content about any subject with the same level of quality, factual accuracy, and usefulness as a human. This product already has thousands of monthly paying subscribers and our MRR has been growing by 10% month over month.

You would be at the intersection of research and production code - taking our research roadmap and helping make it a reality. You will be helping our AI team take nascent research concepts and turn them into state of the art natural language generation. You will be constantly ingesting research papers, building prototypes, and later turning those prototypes into production code.

Our work almost exclusively involves very heavy deep learning (transformers) and we primarily use PyTorch.

You will be working directly with our Founder/CEO (me!), who is leading the AI team, both as a manager and an individual contributor.

We sponsor all visas, including H1B and Green Card, and we pay market rates for SF/NYC despite being located in an area with a significantly cheaper cost of living.

If you have done work with transformers for text generation, information retrieval, or text style transfer (and especially if it has advanced SOTA), we would be very interested in talking with you.

In addition to the Senior Machine Learning Engineer role above, we are also hiring for the following roles:

  * Senior Full Stack Engineer

  * Customer Success Manager
Contact us by emailing alex@cortx.com with "HN" in the subject line.

Kenchi | San Francisco / Remote (North American Timezones) | https://kenchi.com/jobs Brian and Michael here! We're 2 ex-Stripe engineers (and previously Facebook and YC). We started and helped scale Stripe's support team from just a few people in Gmail to their current size. Now we're bringing those lessons and tools to other startups. We have customers with hundreds of people each scaling their teams with Kenchi.

Kenchi is about human-in-the-loop automation, currently targeting support teams. We sit inside your browser to provide a privacy-first approach to team members automating aspects of their work in any environment they sit in. We need to be snappy, resilient to running in different JS environments, and smart about how we tie into different pages to extract information in a robust and resilient way.

We're looking for full-stack devs and designers. Founder-types who want to wear many hats, are curious about the innards of different frameworks, and love working across many parts of the system will thrive.

Shoot us an email at jobs@kenchi.com to say hi! We'd love to hear about something you've worked on before of which you're most proud. Talk soon :)
