Web developer with 10+ YoE building products from scratch, often with small teams and directly with founders.

I focus on UI/UX, delivery, and working independently. Open to full-time or part-time engagement.

Happy to jump on a call and discuss your project.

I'm the person you call when something breaks in ways nobody else can read, or when you need infrastructure where neither the stack nor its workloads phone home.

Currently building: a lean, local PII anonymization pipeline; three-stage architecture, on-prem, no hosted AI, designed to replace the kind of Presidio-based solution that OOM-crashes AWS instances. Bleed handling between stages in progress. Before that: Backend dev / Infrastructure architect building an AI assistant for the financial advisors industry. Before that, as an infrastructure lead at a blockchain company, built algoexplorer.io and MyAlgo Wallet infra from scratch. Current focus: on-prem AI inference for organizations where the data can't leave the building; healthcare, legal, finance, government.

24 years of production Linux. I don't babysit pipelines; I fix what others can't see.

I am a Senior Engineer with over 10+ years of experience building scalable full-stack applications and production-grade AI features. I specialize in architecting LLM-powered tools and Rerieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines that solve complex data problems. I am looking for a senior or founding role where I can build high-impact products from the ground up.

I’m a mid-level developer in dire financial straits right now and need to raise about $750 within the next week as a bridge. I’d be willing to dedicate a solid number of hours for the week (40+ if needed) to any programming work in return.

I can jump on bug fixes, small features, backend work, frontend components, or whatever comes up. I’m happy to start with low-stakes tasks and/or open-source side projects.

Email in profile.

Senior Ruby on Rails developer, 10+ years. Most recent work via Toptal:

- Fullscript: built an unauthenticated storefront (catalog, guest checkout, org branding) and an enterprise catalog-restrictions policy engine — GraphQL mutations, caching, search integration.

- Desertcart: refactored a legacy Google Merchant Center disapproval system spanning ~300 accounts (150K–15M products each). Cut CPU 70%+ and reduced runtime from days to hours; added New Relic dashboards + Slack alerting to prevent account suspensions.

- Toptal Core Team (3 years): scalable architecture for an internal engineering-insights platform serving 600+ engineers across GitHub/Jira; convention-driven design + a custom Rails generator so new metrics ship fast. Also rebuilt parts of screening ops on a high-volume platform.

- Earlier: online casino platform (30+ payment gateways, anti-addiction compliance for 1M+ players) and team lead at Cybage.

OSS: small contributions to Devise, CanCanCan, and Kamal.

Side project: JustInvoicIt (Rails 8 + Hotwire) for freelancer invoicing. Currently experimenting with an MCP server using OAuth.

Looking for: Senior/Staff Backend or Full-Stack Rails roles. Comfortable owning architecture, mentoring, and shipping end-to-end.
