Are you guys open to python experience or is it strictly ruby?

Sorry for the super delayed reply, didn't expect questions/comments, so just checking this a week later! It's not strictly ruby if you're comfortable adopting another language/framework and are otherwise a great fit for the role.

I’m absolutely underqualified, but really, really love the unpretentiousness of the format. You guys sound like really nice people.

Thanks for the comment, glad it resonated with some folks! Underqualified, overqualified, we'll take a look if you want to send us an email.

Earlier quoted context omitted.

I really want to see career path of someone who covers most of the above

Yeah what who knows Haskell, C++, Python, TS, WebGL, React and CUDA (already an impressive list) then just as a hobbyist uses hyper converged storage systems runs databases and uses nix? I hope covering all of this isn’t a serious expectation, should probably reword if it’s not

That would be me too. Though for that laundry list, I'd expect commensurate pay too. Used Ceph on a studio wide build system, built a couple of plugins for it. Don't really like Nix and use it under protest.

Coremix | REMOTE | FREELANCE | Senior Software Engineer We're looking for several senior software engineers for the job description below. Location: US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Europe Stack: We don't expect you are a jack of all trades. Welcome to apply if you are MASTER in +2 stacks listed here. Frontend: React, Angular, Vue, Ember Backend: Express, Nest, Django, FastAPI, Flask, RoR, Asp.net, Laravel,…

Looking at the other comments, I decided to look up what this place was, and could not find any results anywhere online for a software company called "Coremix". Combined with the strangeness on the form being linked to here, I am a little sus.
