DuckDuckGo | Multiple Roles | Remote | Full-time | $176k-242k USD + equity We are looking for candidates that are excited to join us on a mission to raise the standard of trust online. All of our roles are fully-remote, except where specific locations are noted. Remote Open Roles at DuckDuckGo: Senior C++ Engineer - $176k + equity — https://duckduckgo.recruitee.com/o/senior-cplusplus-engineer... Engineering Director,…

Every month in the 'Who is hiring?' posts, DuckDuckGo consistently lists job openings. When you go to their hiring page it looks very interesting. You get paid on their "Test" projects. I am not sure if those "Test" projects are live actual requirements that they make applicants do, then they will eventually not hire. OR these job postings are just to maintain their visibility creating the impression of ongoing expansion without all positions necessarily being filled.

I actually enjoy refactoring messy code ->and have worked and improved multiple code bases in my time. However, I don't like recording videos. Any other alternative to apply.

Thanks for your feedback, I can understand that it's not enoyable to record a video.

But for now we will keep these steps and this process since it's important for our recruitment process.

Friendly Captcha | Integrations Engineer | REMOTE within EU | PART-TIME or FULL-TIME | Office in Munich, Germany | https://friendlycaptcha.com

At Friendly Captcha we do one thing and we do it well: we protect websites from malicious actors and bots.

We provide privacy-friendly and accessible anti-bot solutions that don’t annoy users with tasks like clicking fire hydrants. We make the internet a bit better every day by winning over customers currently using Google reCAPTCHA.

We’re a fast-growing, profitable, fully bootstrapped company. Our revenue mostly comes from medium to large European enterprise and governments.

We are currently looking for a (polyglot) Integrations Engineer to join our team.

We think investing in a great developer experience through documentation, SDKs and plugins will pay dividends, and it makes sense for us to grow our team in that direction. The role involves helping us build integrations and plugins for various platforms, and talking to developers who are integrating Friendly Captcha to learn where we can improve. We think the right hire will shape the role themselves.

Our engineering team is remote across Europe, we meet up once per quarter or so. You can work either 4 or 5 days per week, remote or (partially) from our Munich office. Please note that we ONLY consider candidates located within the EU, EEA or UK.

Stack: Golang | Typescript | Clickhouse | Postgres | Redis

Check out https://friendlycaptcha.homerun.co/integrations-engineer for more details.

Do you accept people from non-ivy league, non-FAANG backgrounds?

Based on their LinkedIn profiles (I found 6, 5 of which are Engineers):

- Nobody went to an Ivy League school.

- Ben and Anthony only joined Google by way of acquisition; they co-founded Kaggle. Otherwise, one Engineer came from F.

Hey Ben - the URL directs to https://sumble.com/orgs and requires creating an account to continue - is there another way to access your website?

Also, do you have links to the job posts?

Thanks!
