#523
Location: Sydney, Australia

Remote: Yes (preferred - once trained)

Willing to relocate: No (for now/unless suitably tempted)

Technologies: N/A. Not the normal post you'll see here on HN. I'm currently learning to program in Python for the first time. My post here is putting feelers out there - for employers looking for "office all-rounders".

Someone that can do a bit of graphic design, can write killer copy, can learn stuff on the fly, is highly resourceful and very much a master of none. If it helps (my degree is in Media Arts) - I'm highly fluent in Digital Audio technologies (Reaper, FL Studio), synthesizers (hardware, modular and VST), audio hardware.

I have 10+ years experience in media traffic management/print advertising delivery and manage a small team of designers and copywriters to deliver said work.

Am interested in working with audio companies, software/tech co's, engineering companies and the like in some "general" capacity - with the hope of training and mentorship in technical areas. Plus points if you're actually not evil - I'll want to work for you without pretending I do.

Have interests in mathematics, 3d animation, drafting, computer programming (DSP/embedded), electronics, woodwork and GUI design. Especially interested in acoustic instrument modelling, analog circuit modelling, DSP programming.

Resume/CV: Can send on request.

I am a full stack developer with a Master's degree in Computer Science and 4 years of professional experience with JavaScript and C#/.NET. In the last few years my main focus has been the React/Next.js ecosystem, followed by Node.js. I am a JavaScript professional and a Python beginner interested to get more exposure to it. I have also worked with ASP.NET in the past which is not my primary focus at the moment. I have a basic understanding of DevOps tools.

A quick and easy way to estimate my current skill level, the quality of my code and documentation, and my preferred tech stack (Next.js, TypeScript, React Query, Prisma, Postgres, TailwindCSS, Docker, Github Actions) is to check out my latest project: https://github.com/nemanjam/nextjs-prisma-boilerplate

I am looking for a full-time remote position. We can discuss relocation after some time spent in the company. You can check out my other projects at https://github.com/nemanjam . I have detailed resume available, you can tell me about your company and project by email: nemanja.mitic.elfak [at] hotmail.com or by LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/nemanja-mitic .
