I’m a MS Computer Engineering student at Virginia Tech and pursued my undergrad in CSE from NITK in India. This past summer, I interned at Amazon, where I built and shipped a major client facing feature used by over a million users.

I'm currently working as a SDE at my university's graduate school through a graduate assistantship, where I help maintain apps that directly affect 8000+ graduate students.

I'm after something with ownership, an opportunity where I could have skin in the game, where I could own features end to end. My biggest strength is that I am young, have little to no real responsibility, and am highly coachable. I'd like to leverage this unique position to skyrocket my skillset and get connected with the cream layer.

Looking for full time opportunities starting May 2026 once I graduate.

Note: I have 36 months of work authorization and will need sponsorship post this period

  Willing to relocate: No

20 years building and operating production systems. Most interesting thing I've done: joined an aquaculture startup as the first engineer, built the entire platform (software, IoT firmware, hardware integrations, infrastructure), grew into the CTO role, and helped the company raise $5M Series A.

Before and after that, I've spent ~10 years at a Norwegian hosting company doing everything from datacenter buildouts and cloud platform architecture to migrating 50+ systems from Perl to .NET and managing a remote dev team.

I'm strongest where software meets infrastructure meets hardware. Looking for senior/staff platform, backend, or infrastructure roles -- especially at companies doing IoT, energy, climate tech, or anything with real-world integrations. Remote only (or commute to Mexico city).
