I have serious doubts that this is a legitimate company that can actually hire people. The parent comment claims that it is "an established electronic trading fintech venture" yet their website only has a landing page (and the position descriptions.)

Duck duck go is weird. They have been posting the same jobs for 2 years. Reading up on glassdoor, older HN comments etc people suspect they aren't really hiring. That and they make you do long writeups for the application. Pretty fishy.

As an aside: I've been interviewing candidates for this and other roles and it's surprised me how much it has come up from candidates that they miss having a place to go and work in-person with their coworkers and that they are looking locally for employers for that reason.
