I'm Dev, a computing generalist who mostly writes code (in any language) but has also done quite a bit of platform and system engineering. I've been building and running projects for about 20 years, learning tools as needed.

I'm currently working part-time as a backend engineer for a early-stage startup and looking for either another part-time client or a CTO / founding engineer role.

I am a recent college graduate and I'm looking for a job. I can join immediately. I'm interested in Compilers, C++, Static Analysis, Open Source, Web Development and I'm open to trying out something new.

I contributed to Carbon Language as part of Google Summer of Code 2023 and building quik.run along with my friend.

Most of my programming experience during college have been with TypeScript and since four months I’ve been writing code in C++ by working on improving the user facing output of carbon explorer as part of Google Summer of Code. I'm changing careers from being a music teacher to becoming a Backend Developer, and I'm hoping to find a full-time remote job. I've spent most of this year heads down in a book and my Macbook. I've learned dozens of technologies, and it's been quite the whirlwind of knowledge gaining. I've taken 6 courses, 3 books, and numerous articles and tutorials.

I won't go into detail about everything on my [resume](https://ashley.boehs.com), but suffice it to say it was a bit of frontend, DevOps, and a LOT of backend. What I've learned could be used well, especially around Rails and Stimulus.
