Return | REMOTE | Senior Ruby/Rails developer (remote within EU) | Full-time (or 4 days)

Return (https://return.energy) is hiring a software engineer who will work on platforms that accelerate the transition to carbon-free energy. Return’s main activity is building and operating industrial-size Battery Energy Storage Systems. Our operations are located in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Spain. You will be making a measurable (country-level) impact on the transition to renewable energy. Return recently raised €300M to support its growth.

While we employ over 100 people, Return’s technical team is still small (15 people). Our platform automates processes in energy storage, monitoring, market optimization, sales, project management, procurement, construction, and customer service.

During the first three years of operation, we laid the foundation for our platforms, and we are ready to scale up. This is why we are looking for an experienced software engineer.

You will be working on internal tools that support our business departments (origination, development, construction, operation, and general). Our tech stack is straightforward: Postgres, Ruby on Rails 8, Turbo, Stimulus, and Tailwind. We tend to keep meetings to a minimum in order to provide at least five hours of uninterrupted coding time per day. We practice code reviews and apply automated and manual testing. The platform is often deployed multiple times per day.

We’re very much open to remote work as long as you live in the EU. Our hiring process is swift but thorough: a 30-minute call to get acquainted and discuss financials, one or more technical interviews, and a paid visit to Amsterdam to meet the team.

The tech team members have co-founded several companies and have experience with remote development teams since 2008. They will personally help you through most of the recruiting process (there is no recruiter involved).

Succeed | Lead Engineer (AI-First Development) | Remote (Europe preferred) | Full-time

Succeed is building a platform to help high-school students discover academic opportunities around the world — summer schools, competitions, research programmes, and university experiences that many students never hear about.

Our goal is simple: reach one million students and open doors that are currently invisible to most of them.

We’re hiring a lead engineer to take technical ownership of the platform as it moves from MVP to market. You’ll work directly with the founders and product designer and own the system end-to-end: product features, automations, infrastructure, and integrations.

We believe modern AI tools dramatically change how small teams build software. Tools like Claude and Claude Code are part of the workflow here.

This role is ideal for a strong early-career engineer or recent graduate who enjoys building real systems, learning quickly, and taking responsibility for a live product.

Stack includes Supabase, PostgreSQL, n8n, APIs and webhooks.

Hey! We're hiring for a Founding GTM Lead at Skyfall AI.

We are an AI research lab developing Enterprise Foundational Models (EWMs) that can understand, simulate, and act across complex enterprise systems.

And no, this is not the first time we are taking a different approach or building a company from the ground up. Skyfall was founded by the original Maluuba team, pioneers of the deep learning revolution who worked closely with leaders such as Yoshua Bengio and Richard Sutton before Maluuba’s $160M acquisition by Microsoft, where it became Microsoft’s AI research center in Canada.

We are building the next foundation layer for enterprise AI.

Please note, there is no playbook. This is a 0-1 role.

Breezy | AI Product Engineer (Mid–Senior) | Remote (US) | Full-time | $120k–150k + Equity | https://www.getbreezyapp.com

Breezy builds modern field service software for residential HVAC companies. The industry still runs on legacy systems like ServiceTitan and Housecall Pro. We’re replacing them with a modern platform that combines strong product design, practical automation, and applied AI.

We’re a small, senior team building quickly with real customers. We value engineers who like owning problems end-to-end and shipping thoughtful software.

Engineers on our team regularly use modern development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor as part of their workflow.

What we’re looking for • Strong full-stack engineering skills • Comfort working with LLMs and AI-assisted development tools • Product-minded engineers who like shipping quickly • Builders who want large ownership and impact in a small team

Tech stack: TypeScript, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, AWS Comp: $120k–150k + equity, health benefits, 401(k), remote-first with periodic team offsites
