Ask HN: Claude Code or Codex?

Honestly I haven't tried Codex yet, but from what I've used so far, Claude Code feels pricey but worth it.

I use claude and opencode for other models like qwen or deepseek. love both.

Codex for raw autonomy/speed and near-zero added cost if you're already paying for ChatGPT; Claude Code if you want tighter interactive control and don't mind working within Pro/Max quota.
