Hi, I know... you need an Italian guy for your dev team... well, today's your lucky day, I'm here to solve your problem!!! :-)

I have 5 years of experience on iOS and Objective C, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and I've published 5 apps in the App Store (I know how to do my stuff!)

I have 2 years of experience on Android too.

I'm currently the owner and only developer for the mobile project I started 2 years ago in the startup I work for. Last month I've shipped a new version of 'my' product (native mobile SDKs for iOS'n'Android) adding voice and video functionality using WebRTC.

What I do not have: A work authorization for the United States - You will need to sponsor me a Green Card / H1-B, sorry about that! :( I'd love to work in the Silicon Valley!!!

Thank you for reading, please drop me a line if you like to know more about me :)

Remote: Yes

Willing to Relocate: No

Technologies: JavaScript, CSS, React, Node, Java, DropWizard, Hibernate, SQL, Redis

CV: http://tinyurl.com/davnicwil-resume TL;DR: 5+ years' web dev experience, 1 as team lead. 1st class BSc + MSc in CS.

I'm Dave - experienced, very good, full-stack web developer and most recently a web dev team lead at a large UK online gaming company.

I'm English, now living in Bogota, Colombia and looking for remote work. These days my stack of choice is React with Node server-rendering for the front end, and either Node or Java over a SQL database for the backend. I've worked with a lot of languages/frameworks and can learn new ones rapidly: I have no problem switching.

If you want a web app building really well, by someone who isn't just a great coder but a great communicator, get in touch!

Location: USA / Remote: YES / Willing to relocate: No

Technologies: AWS, Ansible, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Docker, CoreOS, RDS, ELB

Resume/CV:

At ReactiveOps, we offer two main products and services: DevOps consulting and managed operations.

Our consulting focuses on “DevOps” consulting for clients; primarily AWS - infrastructure automation with Ansible, complex VPC construction, dockerization/CoreOS/fleet, creating High Availability/distributed/clustered systems, etc.

Managed operations, or “DevOps as a Service” is where we act as your outsourced, in-house ops team. We start with consulting to migrate their infra to HA and infra management, then we have a retainer-based service where our clients receive certain things each month as a way to maintain their infra and keep it up to date, apply POODLE/HEARTBLEED, etc.

No matter the product or service, we take a DevOps-centric approach with our customers - we believe that we provide the best service and our customers get the best value when we work closely together. We integrate task trackers (Pivotal, Trello, Asana), chat (Slack, Hipchat), and source control (github) into our own workflow through careful and clever use of automation, giving our customers the ability to reach out to us like they would with an internal DevOps team but without an operational burden on us.

We work with virtualization and container technologies like Xen, OpenStack, Vagrant, Ansible, and Docker, CoreOS, and Fleet. We setup and automate high availability data clusters (MySQL Galera, PostgreSQL replication, Redis failover, ElasticSearch clustering, Memcached, MongoDB etc.), application instances for technologies like Ruby-on-Rails, Django, Node, and Scala (to name a few), and layer on top of those management, orchestration, monitoring, and alerting for fleets of instances.
