I am a full stack engineer with experience in a range of technologies, including JavaScript/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and React. Before software development, I worked within academia as a research analyst, examining interesting questions in the public health/healthcare spectrum - I primarily analyzed healthcare data and did a lot of data analysis.

I recently built Willow with a team of four engineers. It is an open-source, self-hosted framework for building Change Data Capture data pipelines, which updates Redis caches in near real-time based on changes in a PostgreSQL database. Looking primarily for an IC role after four years as a front-line manager. Open to a management role, as well, but I really valued knowing our code from before I was managing the team.

I've been in Clojure B2B startups for 9 years now, and I've learned a lot about startup growing pains, the importance of simple solutions, and solving the right problems.
