Oxidian | https://www.oxidian.com | Remote (UK/Ireland/EU)

We make sure public money is well invested by building software for governments. We're doing to government software services what challenger banks did to banking.

Our clients are mainly governmental research institutions - we're building tools for scientists to process & visualise data, HPC data processing libraries, web apps to make people's working lives easier, and DevOps pipelines.

Currently hiring a senior react + typescript dev (EU only) and a senior python dev.

Earlier quoted context omitted.

Great to see modern approaches to politics. One question though - why tableau? It's legacy now

Results matter more than the tools, so maybe there's an opportunity to help us move forward in that area.

its usually signature drives to get on ballots, getting media coverage, getting into debates, and general fundraising that are locking the third parties out... i would tackle the media coverage + fundraising angles first.

I'm interested in learning more, but the majority of my experience is in elixir and python. Would that prohibit any conversation?

I personally value elixir experience more than haskell (not affiliated) as elixir means you have used lots of practical libraries. (I have professional experience with six FP langs)

Love the Candidate Evaluation Framework and the mission, though as someone who's been doing pretty similar work for 3-4 years it seems intimidating. Is it worthwhile to send in a related-resume, or is your hiring group just drowning in them?

I have 9 years experience, got filtered out in resume screen

Solace Health | Various Roles | Remote (US Only) The U.S. healthcare system wasn’t built for patients. It’s massive, confusing, exhausting, and designed to wear people down. It denies access, withholds clarity, fails to take patients seriously, and rarely shows them how to fix what’s broken. When care gets delayed or denied, patients are often left with more questions than answers. At Solace, we’re on a mission to em…

Same jobs posted for the last few months. Are these real or is it really that hard to fill the roles?

I would love answers to these type of questions. I think best way to figure this out is to look at the graphs of headcount on LinkedIn and see if its growing
