A lot of judges are somewhat corrupt, the difference is how much. But make no mistake, the power/influence they yield is enormous and i would certainly restrain myself for ever doing this. Obstruction of justice can already be shown to have occurred within the prosecutor's office, in a case against the judge related to her faking of a crime. Police had concluded there was no threat. That page went missing from her file but I have it from another source.
A number of my friends and acquaintances are, in fact, high-level judges. This court had no way of knowing this.
