Summary: M.S. in Computer Science (UC Riverside, Dec 2024) with 3.5+ years of professional experience across startups and scale-ups. I specialize in building robust backend systems, data pipelines, and full-stack applications that power real-world platforms.

Backend Engineering: Designed scalable services using Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL; optimized systems for speed and reliability (e.g., 2-second query performance on 1M+ records at Plus AI).

Data Platforms: Developed a high-throughput ETL pipeline at BrowserStack processing 30M+ events/day; reduced dashboard latency from 24h to 1h and cut manual data pulls by 70%.

Full-Stack Development: Built dynamic UIs using React and TypeScript to visualize complex datasets and empower non-technical users.

AI + Dev Tools: Created an LLM-powered agent for automated log analysis and issue detection, reducing developer debugging time significantly.

Cloud & DevOps: Experience deploying on AWS, using Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestrating workflows with Airflow and Jenkins.

Strong CS Foundations: Proficient in algorithms, distributed systems, and system design, with a practical and user-focused engineering mindset.

I'm a full-stack engineer with 7 years of experience building and scaling web applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js. On the infrastructure side, I have experience with Docker and AWS. I’ve deployed apps as bare containers on VMs, containerized services on AWS, and also built and deployed serverless applications using AWS Lambda and other AWS services.

I’ve worked remotely for half of my career and really appreciate async-first, low-meeting environments - it’s how I do my best work and feel the most happy.

I was pretty lucky to have worked in teams where the usual engineering best practices were non-negotiable: Git version control, automated testing, CI/CD, accessibility, performance, observability, and maintainability. I’m comfortable working independently and love being involved in both product and technical decisions.

I’m currently part of the founding team at a startup where we build career-related products that make use of LLMs. We use OpenRouter to route and manage model usage across providers, and Langfuse to track and debug LLM interactions.

I'm also currently building two personal projects, which I will try to monetize. One is a job application tracker that uses AI to simplify managing job applications, and the other is a YouTube playlist manager.
