Bilangue citoyen Canadien. I'm usually immersed in obscure technologies that are hard to sanely explain on a résumé ;) A jack-of-all-trades, my current personal work involves a lot of technologies, like Unicode, perfect hash maps, mobile UI, WASM, and lots of automated testing.

I am a Senior Data Engineer/Data Scientist with over 12 years of experience. My studies in physics provided me with strong theoretical foundations, while several years of experience in various companies gave me practical skills to combine these two fields. I work with data from the beginning - from its source, through processing and analysis, to the final result in the form of business value. I am able to work with unstructured, low-quality data. I am particularly interested in anomaly detection and fraud detection.

Hello everyone, I am Markos aka qnoid. You might have come across Windmill (https://windmill.qnoid.com/) or that talk on Sound Debugging (https://qnoid.com/2013/06/08/Sound-Debugging.html#main). Just recently, I also gave a talk at NSLondon on Debugging Closed Source Code (https://qnoid.com/2024/04/11/debugging-closed-source-code.ht...).

I am a software engineer, experienced in iOS/macOS apps and Java Enterprise, based in London, UK. I am primarily looking for a London based role, open to working remotely.

I was really excited to be offered a role at Sketch as a macOS Developer, albeit a short one. I loved Sketch’s engineering driven culture, working on an award winning Apple product alongside some of the best developers in the field.

I am also really proud of the engineering team at KodyPay I established as the no. 2 engineering hire. I loved working on features that required me to wear many of my hats (mobile, backend, infrastructure).

I also take great pleasure in writing technical guides, giving talks and generally breaking down complex problems. In that sense, I am also interested in pivoting to a Developer Relations role.
