I'm looking for a company that needs a dynamic full-stack engineer with business know-how. I'm interested in helping businesses solve problems in pragmatic ways. I'm not your die-hard algorithms guy, but rather the guy who can build solutions good-enough for the current state of affairs with an aim to iteratively improve. I've got roughly 50/50 split experience between front-end and back-end.

I'd love to take a shot at leadership, but am happy to continue to keep leveling-up my technical skills as well.

I'm Grant and I'm from Santa Rosa, CA. I've been engineering for a little over 3 years now and I've built some things that I've been proud of and had a lot of fun along the way. My last role was as a Platform Support Engineer at Rutter, an eCommerce and fintech API company, where I would debug customer issues from end to end. Before that, I owned a small business that supplied guitar builders with materials, but I sold the company to focus on programming. Aside from coding, I'm into cycling (MTB, road, gravel, CX), playing guitar, craft beer, record collecting, and home coffee roasting. I'm generally a social person that works well with others, and I love learning and sharing my knowledge and I'm excited to find my next team!
