Hi all, I'm a software engineer-turned grad student (Duke - MS Econ/CS) set to graduate in May and looking to start a job in July. I've got about four years of software experience, plus two of research/data experience. I'm mostly interested in data science jobs or adjacent (i.e. data engineering or ML engineering). That said, I could be open to the right backend or full-stack software job if the problem space is interesting enough.

Summary: Have experience building webapps, but found I like breaking them more than building them. Self-taught until recently when I began reviewing the PenTest+ material from CompTIA. I am looking to join a red team that can offer me a group to learn from and grow with. A mentor of sorts, someone or some group that has experience with developing people in the world of ethical hacking.
