HIFI Labs | Frontend / Fullstack Developer with an interest for UX and design | San Francisco, CA (US) | Remote Only | https://hifilabs.co

HIFI Labs is a multi-faceted VC-backed music startup based in San Francisco, with founders who have worked hands-on within the music industry for decades, now taking aim at narrowing the gap between artists and tech.

HIFI Labs is focused on

* Invest in artists at early/mid/late stages

* Grow artists and labels through unique tech-driven, artist-by-artist, kind of experiences

* implement and release in-house products to level-up musicians all over the world

Super proud to say we hosted a multi-platform music festival 3 weeks ago hosted on Twitch, Minecraft and Gather.town. It ended up being the most streamed music-event internationally that week. So much fun! :) (https://friendfe.st)

Tech stack: It depends on the project but recent projects have been a mix of

* React

* React Native

* CSS-in-JS

* Three.js

* Next.js

* Gatsby.js

* Netlify-CMS

* Netlify

* Firebase

* Cloudflare

* so basically all the fun stuff out there.

If this sounds interesting, feel free to ping me at pierre @ company domain.

Arturia | junior, senior devs | Grenoble, France | Full-time | ONSITE

Arturia creates / rebuild synthesizers so that anybody can make music, be they Hans Zimmer, Lady Gaga or your nephew's band. We are hiring in the IT team for various positions, including projects in angular (internal tools), day-to-day / micro-projects operations (closely related to other teams), ops (CI/CD, test suites, ...). We have opened (or soon-to-be opened) positions in all these sectors, even if they are not shown on our website.

Stack contains ruby, angular, php, docker, Kafka, vuejs, bare metal servers (so far) , we have a good architect that is not always obtuse and has a good idea of where he wants us to go, the work environment (teams and geographic) is quite nice, a lot of people in the company use the instruments we produce and you can have a voice in design, ideas and such even if your are not in product management, and if you miss hiking /skiing chances are you'll find friends to come along (we have a snowboard Europe vice champion in the team).

You'll be expected to speak french, but we do have members of other teams that took classes after getting the job.

Example of position: https://jobs.arturia.com/o/lead-developer-full-stack-devops-...

Music experience not mandatory, as this team does not produce our instruments, but it's always a bonus.

Cruise | Software Engineer | San Francisco, Seattle, or REMOTE | VISA acceptable | https://www.getcruise.com

Cruise is building the world’s most advanced, self-driving vehicles to safely connect people to the places, things, and experiences they care about. We believe self-driving vehicles will help save lives, reshape cities, give back time in transit, and restore freedom of movement for many.

I'm an engineering manager hiring specifically for the Webviz (http://webviz.io/) team. I'm looking for frontend engineers who want to make fast, beautiful browser-based visualizations of the car using WebGL, WASM and Javascript.

Much of the work that we do on this team is open-sourced (check out the code at https://github.com/cruise-automation/webviz). Cruise vehicles produce mountains of data; we have to visualize it in dozens of different ways at a high frame rate. We recently built a Javascript object proxy that wraps all of our input binary data in an object-like interface that only parses data on access, so that we can limit garbage collection pressure and improve our frame rate. If this kind of project sounds interesting, you might enjoy working on Webviz!

Reach out directly to me if you're interested in the above (open to associate/senior/staff levels), or if you have any questions about Cruise.

My email: david.winegar@getcruise.com
