Hunger Not Impossible (HNI) is on a mission to create a world where no one has to worry about going to bed hungry or where their next meal will come from. Today, there are more than 50 million people in the United States who go hungry every day and experience the stress and uncertainty of food insecurity. As unemployment continues to rise in the face of the Covid-19 global pandemic, the mission of Hunger Not Impossible becomes more critical every day.

We are a text messaging platform that connects people in need with fresh, nutritious to-go, pre-paid meals provided by nearby partner restaurants. Currently in phase 1 of the national rollout, launched in April of 2020, HNI is operational in 7 major U.S. cities (Los Angeles, Houston, Seattle, Oakland, Las Vegas, Boston, Dallas) and launching in new cities every quarter. We believe that our approach to providing low income families with easy, stigma-free access to nutritious meals, while supporting local restaurants and the food industry, will drive beneficial health and socio-economic outcomes within our most vulnerable communities.

We're an early staged startup, currently looking for a senior backend engineer (ideally with some production Rails experience) that is interested in building resilient, scalable systems for a startup with a huge social impact.

BastianSolutions.com, a Toyota Advanced Logistics company, is an independent material handling and robotics system integrator providing automated solutions for distribution, manufacturing, and order fulfillment centers worldwide.

We are building a team in the Waterloo ON area. We are looking for: Developers to help build 3D emulation/Digital Twin software (using the game engines to drive massive scale emulations). You will be responsible for both core software development and building an effective build pipeline.

Should be comfortable in:

   * Java or C#  
   * Scalability and real-time systems  
   * Unity, Unreal or OpenGL (preferred, not required)

We're a bunch of engineers and designers building great product and technology - but we know next to nothing about Marketing and how to build a brand.

So to that end, we're looking for our first outrageously good marketing leader (VP/SVP/CMO) to build our marketing strategy from the grounds up. We're posting this here on HN since we want someone who is technical and excited about doing scrappy and clever things.

We're profitable and raised a Series A ($12M) from CRV recently to go faster, so we have some good capital to invest in great marketing.
