Adeptmind | Senior Software Engineer | Remote worldwide (partial US business hours overlap) | https://adeptmind.ai We're an AI Search company with a proven track record to close and deliver on enterprise deals. We have a great engineering culture. Our founders have had a successful 9-figure exit on their last rodeo. I've co-founded startups in the past and led teams in large enterprises including AWS. Spring Discovery | Software Engineers | Full-Time | SF Bay Area | ONSITE or REMOTE

Spring Discovery is accelerating the discovery of therapies by empowering scientists.

We're an interdisciplinary team of biologists and technologists developing a new approach to scientific analysis – one where machine learning, great software, and cross-team collaboration is at the heart. We apply these techniques in partnership with other biopharma companies to search for drugs, and we also license our software / technology to other scientific teams.

We're looking for software engineers to help continue building software products for science. You don't need a bio background – just a desire to learn and make a difference.

Get a sense of some of the technology we build and the promising results they've uncovered by reading our blog posts:

https://www.springdiscovery.com/blog/megamap https://www.springdiscovery.com/blog/multi-disease

We're fortunate to have great backing from top investors, including General Catalyst, First Round, Laura Deming's Longevity Fund, Felicis, Caffeinated Capital, Sam Altman, and more. You'd be joining an early team (ex-Google, Khan Academy, CZI, Freenome) and would have a ton of ownership.

If this sounds interesting to you, head on over to https://www.springdisc.com/careers or email me directly at benkomalo+hn@springdisc.com.

Truework | Software Engineers | San Francisco, CA | Full time | Onsite or Remote (US) | https://www.truework.com/careers/

Truework is hiring software engineers to help overhaul employment and income verification and build a trusted identity layer for internet commerce. A full list of roles can be found here: https://www.truework.com/careers

Truework is building a platform to make it easy for lenders and fintech companies to leverage verified income and employment information in their products and offers. Our platform enables faster closing of loans and other transactions, increases access to financial products (that are often limited to W-2 employees with good credit), and gives employees visibility and control into how their employment information is shared with others.

We are growing quickly. We currently handle tens of thousands of verifications every month for top US mortgage lenders and are on track to handle millions of verifications annually for fintech and lending verticals. That said, our team is still small, which means you’ll play big a part in shaping the future of Truework, and your work will have a significant impact and visibility.

We also have a strong financial foundation. We just closed our Series C funding round and we have several years of runway in the bank. We are well positioned to weather and potentially even take advantage of current macroeconomic situation. I'd be happy to tell you more about this all if we end up having a conversation.

Finally, in case you're curious, we are a Django and React (Typescript) shop, and run our infrastructure on AWS.

I (Steve) am Truework's head of engineering. If you’re interested or want to know more about working at Truework, send me a note at (my HN username)@truework.com.

Compile | Senior DevOps Engineer, Senior Data Scientist | Bangalore, India ONSITE | Full-time

We are a decade old self-funded company and we've built a healthcare data platform used by everyone from high growth startups to household names. Our customers love us and we aim to provide a positive environment for our employees. The product itself is quite amazing in its own right, but we are continuing to innovate so our customers can make decisions backed by our solid data.

I'm hiring for the DevOps role - honestly this is could be one of those career-defining roles if you choose to fill it. We're planning to make major changes to our infrastructure and this could be a chance to build stuff up from scratch. Our CTO and I will groom you to own and manage the entire infrastructure.

The Sr. Data Scientist role gives you a chance to build some path breaking stuff - there is a lot of potential for ML to solve problems, in a field that hasn't as yet had ML disrupt it.

Unnamed Forum | San Francisco | Remote | Contract You may know me here as the owner and founder of rsync.net. This is not a job posting for rsync.net. Rather, I am starting a new venture that involves creating a threaded discussion software very much like what we are using right here on HN . The full job description, which is likely to be a contract position but could evolve into a full time development position, is…

Having written forum stuff a few times over, I’m not sure you realize what you should even ask for. We never released the last rewrite, so could sell that, but it’s old… Once a community is started, you will spend all your time on content moderation features (less if more like HN than Reddit). Be sure the dev separates out the messages from ordering. I just saved you a rewrite, lol.

> Be sure the dev separates out the messages from ordering.

Can you explain? I'm not sure what you mean by this.
