I'm Hung, a software engineer with 6+ years of experience. I have worked in different types of environments: from small, start-up-like, to medium-sized (~100-200 engineers), to big-corporation (~2000 engineers). I've built systems from scratch and scaled large distributed systems handling millions reqs/s. As a result, I have both the practicality and adaptivity of a start-up developer, and the awareness of scale, reliability and process of a software engineer.

I read extensively and learn systematically, not only software engineering but also a wide range of other subjects. My portfolio (https://portfolio.hungcq.com) showcases side projects driven by curiosity and a deep interest in learning. I enjoy exploring the full stack, experimenting with technologies such as the clouds, workflow engine, service mesh and observability stacks, ML, and LLMs.

(I think) I'm up for any challenge. I'm ambitious, I'm confident in myself. But I'm also humble enough to learn quickly from my mistake, and to work well with others.

Hi, I'm Krzysiek — a full-stack developer with nearly 5 years of experience. I primarily work with Elixir, but I'm also comfortable with JavaScript (Node.js, React) and Python. I enjoy learning new technologies when it makes sense for the project. I've worked on a variety of projects and had the opportunity to contribute across all areas of the stack. I'm currently looking for a full-time role, preferably involving Elixir.

Current Focus Project(s): Writing an intelligent agent with dissociative identity disorder to live inside my Raspberry Pi cluster and fight with me when I try to debug things https://github.com/goldentooth/agent , also rebuilding said cluster in a 10" rack which turned out to be more cramped than I anticipated https://clog.goldentooth.net/
Was ambivalent about posting here again; I'm not looking for a typical established company or a typical startup. If you're looking for a "strong fit", it's probably not me. I'm not a strong fit for anything. I'm less of a puzzle piece and more Play-Doh™. I'm less a ninja turtle than Swamp Thing. I'm a shambling horror and a goddamned mess and I can't and won't stop evolving in the weirdest and stupidest ways imaginable.

I wanna do something with science or something that'll benefit humanity. I'd love to work with AI or ML or complexity science. I'd love to do deep research or build or improve something on the cutting edge. I want to merge into or absorb some mission and team somewhere like The Thing. I want to solve really weird problems with really intelligent people.

I have to admit that this possibility seems and feels pretty unlikely, though. Which is fine, because I'm currently employed, paid well, and working on things I find interesting and that benefit a vulnerable population :)
