Backend-leaning full-stack software engineer working remotely in diverse teams for the last 10 years.

Not in a hurry. I’m exploring career improvement opportunities where I can be sure that if I invest my passion I will feel parts of the results of it. Not interested unless you have something in the higher side of 6 figures plus benefits.

I’ve helped (twice) companies to scale their applications from millions of users to an architecture that can scale x10 that.

I'm happy working with JavaScript, Rust, Swift, Smalltalk, Docker, AWS or GCloud. I'm usually happier pair programming but I'm totally okay left with a task on my own too.

I prefer not to do DevOps nor operations. Being on-call is a deal breaker. I shine in development. Specially bringing new possibilities for the app so the team can do things with it if they chose to.

My current favorite pet project is an IDE for Smalltalk with a Svelte frontend and a Rust backend.

I've been a software engineer for 20 years, leadership for the last 6-8 years or so. Looking for an individual contributor or leadership, either is fine with me. I just like creating stuff that impacts people for the better and teaching others what I know about creating products.

I've written game and graphics engines, trading platforms, video streaming platforms (hello HBO Go!), machine learning platforms, things that helped consumers, things that helped business, things that helped the planet.

Your mission and your product speak more to me than salary and equity. Let's talk.
