SEEKING FREELANCER(S) | Clojure, AWS, Solidity | REMOTE | 6 months | $100k

donafi.io is seeking self directed engineers who are interested in working ultra flexible hours on small teams utilizing simple and powerful programming constructs.

We’re in need of thoughtful engineers to help us answer the questions of how to safely, trustlessly, efficiently, and ethically facilitate non profit campaigns and charities to unlock the power of Web3. Help us design and implement the worlds first fully decentralized and democratic blockchain donation system.

SEEKING FREELANCER(S) | Atlanta, GA, USA | Remote OK

My startup does three things:

1) FakeYou.com is a deep fake cartoon and celebrity text to speech and video generation tool used for making memes.

2) I'm in the process of standing up Storyteller.io, which enables the monetized use of TTS and deepfake video in Twitch, YouTube Gaming, Reddit, and other streaming communities.

3) We have an engine for virtual production: Unreal Engine + motion capture + volumetric capture for cinematic-quality VTuber streams with audience interaction and participation.

All of these tools play extremely well together.

I'm looking for the following skill sets, and help with any of them would be fantastic:

- Unreal Engine (C++ or animation experience)

- Pytorch / ML with a focus on 3D and spatial applications, posture estimation, and 3D generative models. You don't have to be an active researcher, but being able to implement the top papers (or adapt and train published code) is good.

- Rust. Our backend stack is entirely Rust / Actix. Our volumetric capture system is Rust, too.

This is entirely self-funded, but I'm gearing up for applying to YC Summer 2022. I've also got a few other VC leads. This could potentially turn into an FTE position with equity.

Please reach out if you're interesting in "storytelling" and creative coding. This is not going to be a boring job.

Hi , I'm Johannes!

I talk to humans and machines and specialize in golang, kubernetes as well as automating everything.

As consultant and developer I provide services from DevOps to application development and have a history of completing projetcs on time and in budget. I currently foucs on kubernetes, golang and terraform but have seen and worked on multiple environments.

I grew up with the internet, uploaded my first websites to geocities, was tech-admin of a lot of bulletin boards and have been doing professional code since 2003. After trying to build my first start-up in 2006 I realised that they just won’t come only because I built it. Therefore, I have a bachelor economical psychology, which helps me immensely with team leadership and communication but also allows me to view the product from multiple perspectives.

I started working when Servers where still mostly dedicated, have lived the revolution of virtual servers, made a short stop at serverless tech and am now invested in the kubernetes ecosystem and its containers. My preferred clouds are Azure and AWS, but I have worked on others and also like to tame bare-metal and everything in-between. I love solving difficult issues and have worked on multi cloud deployments before.

All this makes me perfect if you are looking for someone with seniority, that is flexible, plays well with others but also likes to get his hands dirty. If you would like to see what I have been up to, please check the projects section on LinkedIn.

Technologies:

Fullstack (Frontend, Backend, APIs, Daemons, Deployments, CLI)
  Favorites: Golang, JavaScript, PHP
  Cloud / X-Cloud : AWS, Azure, Hetzner, OVH, Bare-Metal

SEEKING WORK | Seattle | Remote OK

I am a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Google Style, with experience at both large and small organizations. I've been using Kubernetes since the very beginning, been actively working at scale, and worked across the stack and with diverse technologies. I'm looking to help small dev teams increase their velocity by implementing best-practices of Devops: CI/CD, Kubernetes Deployments, and effective Monitoring frameworks.

I'm available for consulting on your initial setup, for fixing your build, as well as on retainer for operational Oncall. I'm actually quite busy at the moment, but happy to have a conversation if you've got something small or forward-looking, or happy to forward it on to my network.

ML Ops (MLOps for the keyword searchers)

I specialize in streamlining machine learning workflows and procedures. I can help you iterate faster on your ML development by replacing your manual process with an automated workflow.

I've worked with companies large (helped develop and maintain the ML platform at Airbnb, serving hundreds of models) and small (small startup iterating on a single model with no automation yet).

I've worked with a range of technologies (Python, Go, C++, JavaScript, Java, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, ...) and can adapt to whatever you use. I'm comfortable with low-level performance optimizations and high-level architecture decisions.

Email is in my profile.
