SEEKING WORK | Seattle | Remote OK

I am a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Google Style, with experience at both large and small organizations. I've been using Kubernetes since the very beginning, been actively working at scale, and worked across the stack and with diverse technologies. I'm looking to help small dev teams increase their velocity by implementing best-practices of Devops: CI/CD, Kubernetes Deployments, and effective Monitoring frameworks.

I'm available for consulting on your initial setup, for fixing your build, as well as on retainer for operational Oncall. I'm actually quite busy at the moment, but happy to have a conversation if you've got something small or forward-looking, or happy to forward it on to my network.

SEEKING FREELANCER | Remote | Part-time

Tech: React Native / Expo

Hey, I am looking for someone who has experience implementing in-app purchases in a React Native mobile app published in both app stores (App Store and Play Store). Some native mobile development knowledge might come in handy too.

Our app is already developed and published in both stores [0][1] as a paid app. We are changing to a free app with in-app purchases. It is a simple app, with three children stories. In the freemium version it will have one free story while the two others will be paid.

I need someone with real experience that can implement this for me or even just guide me so I can develop it myself (I am a web developer, just not a mobile developer and confused by the document and process around in-app purchases).

It should a short, one-time job. I would guess less than 10 hours because my need is very specific. Thank you for considering it.

SEEKING WORK | Los Angeles | Remote

I'm an expert engineer and data professional interested in consulting and architecting data pipelines. At Edmunds.com, I worked on a fairly successful ad-tech product and my team bootstrapped a data pipeline using Spark, Databricks, and microservices built with Java, Python, and Scala.

These days, I consult for a "new media" company you probably heard of and, over the past year, I re-built an ETL Kubernetes stack, including data loaders and extractors that handle >10,000 API payload extractions daily. More recently, I helped migrate said stack to Google serverless cloud functions.

My area of expertise includes data interoperability with Facebook Marketing, Facebook Graph, Instagram Graph, Google DFP, Salesforce, etc. That I'm a top-tier developer goes without saying. I'm interested in getting new clients and can help with best practices, architecture, and hiring.

Would love to connect even if it's just for networking!

SEEKING FREELANCERS | Remote | Contract

Tech: Mostly ML/data science focused work but some openings for other folks

I'm over at Tribe.AI, a collective of ML practitioners who build solutions for startups and enterprises. We pride ourselves on being super talent centric (rather than the usual marketplace meat market like a Toptal or Upwork) and the community is great. I've seen (and helped build) a few and the niche focus + really strong curation makes it a great place. We're always looking for great freelance talent to join the network for new projects.
