I am looking for a summer internship in July-August. Currently, I doing my master's degree in computer science at University of Copenhagen with graduation January 2022.

My special interest is in concurrent programming and massively-parallel hardware, but for this summer, I just want to get more experience working on a larger software project. I would be happy learning a new language as well.

I am looking for an apprenticeship setting were I work with a more experienced developer.

32-hour-full-time/part-time/contract work only. At this time I am not open to 40-hour-full-time employment.

I'm a generalist software developer, having done a lot of full-stack web work, and also a lot of low-level coding.

I'm a past Director, VP Incubator, and VP Legal Affairs at the Apache Software Foundation. I was the original author of a moderately successful open source C search engine library project (Apache Lucy, now retired). I'm an inveterate organizer of study groups, and an occasional presenter (Papers We Love, ApacheCon, OSCON, etc).

My experience thus far has been in frontend development using React and the libraries in its ecosystem - this is also what I use in my current position. Currently working on side projects that involve creating APIs using Node, Express, and Mongo. Looking for both frontend and fullstack entry level opportunities.
