Shameless plug: made a searcher for this (and any other HN's) thread - it runs locally in-browser by loading all top-level comments to in-browser SQLite, lets you run regular SQL and also full-text search (FTS4) to filter results any way needed. We want to know, how can we improve our first poaching emails to potential candidates?

What sort of email containing what info/perks/personal attention would get YOUR attention, as an engineer/developer, from a prospective new employer?
