Joulent | Founding ML Platform Engineer, Energy Intelligence | San Francisco | HYBRID | Full-time | equity

We deliver multi-gigawatt power to AI data centers, and this is the founding hire on the team that forecasts load and market prices. You own the whole spine: ISO/RTO market feeds, weather and plant telemetry through feature store, serving, drift detection and the model gateway.

Not a scale problem — the data is rich, not petabyte. Feeds land late and get revised after the fact without ever throwing an error, so the failure mode is a price series quietly wrong for three weeks behind a forecast that looks fine. The work is trust infrastructure: lineage, freshness SLAs, point-in-time correctness, eval gates that can block a model.

Python, SQL, Airflow, containers, IaC. 5+ years on production data and ML platforms; energy background welcome, not required.

Sitewire | Full-Stack Software Engineer | Full-Time | $130-200k USD | 0-0.1% Equity | Remote (US only)

I'm the head of engineering at Sitewire, a construction finance platform that helps lenders and real estate investors track projects, automate work verification, and speed up payments. Our small, fully-remote team has built a profitable product that's expanded organically 3x per year, mainly through word of mouth. We're now looking to roughly double the size of our engineering team as we enter our next phase of growth.

We're looking for smart, pragmatic full-stack engineers who operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership. This is not a ticket factory: you'll be working directly with our PM to turn product briefs into new platform features and will have a hand in shaping the architecture and design of the things you build.

Our current stack is React and React Native on the client side with Postgres as our database. Our web app and API are currently powered by a Ruby on Rails monolith that we're gradually migrating off of. You don't need experience with Rails and it's not what we're hiring for: we're looking for React experience + solid backend engineering experience with any modern language.

Our interview process is pretty simple: a phone screen/behavioral interview, a 1-hour coding challenge that you can complete as either a live session or a take-home (your choice), and a presentation on a project you designed and feel particularly proud of (or think is particularly interesting).

If you're interested, please fill out this form and I'll be in touch: https://forms.gle/diVa5ScKJLYnW7u38
