As a passionate and curious developer, I like to mingle with all aspects of stacks.

Recently I've been working as a devops/release engineer specialising in mobile application deployments so I got fairly familiar with gradle and xctool internals.

I'm curious and would like to learn and earn challenges.

I have worked a lot in my local communities to create successful non-profit startup. A web radio and archive system; and a co-op management suite for a DIY community space. These are volunteer jobs so I would like to earn money beside so I won't burn out.

Note: It might be guessable but rather I would like to state, for me ethics is quite important when selecting workplace. This limits my potential jobs but I hope that there are good things on this board!

[*] I have valid, good reasons I swear!

Location: Boulder, CO

Remote: Yes

Willing to relocate: For the right role

Languages: Rust, Golang, C#, C++, Clojure, Lua

Backend technologies: AWS, Kubernetes, Postgres, Docker, New Relic, .. the usual suspects

Expertise: Distributed systems, horizontal scalability, parallel programming, performance optimization

Resume: Available on request

Email: Easier to hit me up on LinkedIn for privacy reasons

I spent the first 15 years of my career building game engines for a living. During that period I've done it all, from streaming, networking, game object models, shaders, simluations, .. you name it. It left me with a knack for good design, optimization, parallel programming, and cpu / memory-awareness. My claim to fame is single-handedly building the game NinJump on iOS / Android back in the early days of mobile gaming. It had over 150 million downloads and hit #1 on iOS.

Several years ago I transitioned to distributed computing, focusing on horizontal scalability. The past few years I've been working mostly in AWS, Golang, and Kubernetes. I've enjoyed the challenge of this transition. I didn't list all my engine cred above as I'm more focused on backend work these days.

Finally, I'm a huge proponent of Rust. I rarely get attached to technology but working in Rust is just a joy. I'm always on the lookout for kickass Rust gigs, especially when they're not crypto-facing.

Just freed up and fielding calls with folks. Cool opportunities welcome! :)
