Companies House (part of UK civil service) | Senior Developer | Full time | Remote in UK or Hybrid in Cardiff | Can sponsor Visa to UK We can offer an incredible defined benefit pension and an extremely family friendly flex system (You can work your time anytime between 6am and 8pm with no core hours, just clock in and out). If that sounds interesting you should apply. We are Remote first with the super majority of p…

Unfortunately I do live in London and have a family so do require a London salary, but I would like to say that "Companies House" desperately needs to be improved so this is a valuable job.

Specifically it needs to be analysed from the perspective of fraudulent activities by UK businesses or foreign businesses that operate in the UK. People are able to register businesses using fake names, split their identity by changing their registered address, close their company before they need to post accounts, set the registered address of their company to a residential address they do not have access to, etc.

Obviously some of these things need to be altered at the policy-level, but if you were just to allow the weirdness to be analysed and bring it the right people's attention (e.g. https://twitter.com/DanNeidle/status/1679472841106882567), you would be doing the UK a big favour.

Kick Health || Remote || Full-Time || Lead Product-Focused Full Stack Web Engineer Performance Medicine (Sleep + Public Speaking) https://www.gokick.com

Where Product-Focused Engineers tired of coding soulless products instead create meaningful impact at scale in the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.

Kick Health is the first online Performance Medicine clinic. We help thousands of patients with sleep difficulties and presentation fears become the best versions of themselves (and not in the cliched, social-media influencer way).

We've been featured in the New York Times, Stat Medical News, Slate, Business Insider, and Bloomberg.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and experienced Full Stack Engineer with strong product sense to join our team. As a Product-Focused Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering consumer and doctor-facing products.

You'll report directly to and work closely with the technical CEO, who previously helped start AllTrails, the #1 app for the outdoors with over 50 million users in 100+ counties.

Hope to start your own startup one day? This is a chance to join a revenue-generating, early-stage company and learn how to achieve product-market fit and scale rapidly.

You will work on a developer-driven, modern tech stack, including Golang, React JS, GraphQL, Postgres, Kubernetes/Docker, and Google Cloud. We are seeking a candidate who can handle any part of this tech stack and has a deep understanding of building and scaling consumer-facing products.

SerpApi | https://serpapi.com | Senior Ruby Engineer | Creative Director | Based in Austin, TX but everyone is remote | Full-time | ONSITE or FULLY REMOTE (We're a remote first company) | $160k 1099 for US or local avg + 20% for outside the US SerpApi is the leading API to scrape and parse search engine results. SerpApi needs to improve their hiring process, I've also seen others complain here on HN, where they would give you a software engineering test and just go silent after it's done.

Not even a rejection email, and when you reach out to recruiters/other software engineers there is always radio silence

I am just adding this comment here, because I've seen this comment added on other threads and they haven't done anything about it and I also went thru the same process assuming they would improve, but I also got no responses

SmithRx | Senior DevSecOps Engineer | Full time | Remote (US) or offices in San Francisco, Lehi, Plano | https://smithrx.com/job/?jobid=6465764002

We are a series B funded company in the pharmacy benefits space. Every year, half of a trillion dollars flow through pharmacy benefit managers, with more than 90% of that money running through systems designed in the late 80s running Cobol. These archaic systems prevent our competitors from providing innovative healthcare programs or saving their clients money. At SmithRx, we're building a modern pharmacy benefit manager from the bottom up to change this.

We are looking for an Sr. DevSecOps Engineer who has hands-on experience building and managing a cloud-based infrastructure. Additionally, this engineer will be responsible for development cycles in integration/continuous deployment mode, process monitoring, and more broadly, constructing a “safety culture” within the SmithRx’s DevSecOps practice. Our user base is currently doubling monthly, and you would share the responsibility of orchestrating a reliable, sustainable, and scalable infrastructure.
