Hello, I'm a rising senior biomedical engineering student at the University of Waterloo. I'm looking for a 4-8 month internship in swe or ML. I've worked at two startups previously as a backend engineering intern and a data science intern. In school I write code for biological systems modelling, image generation for medical imaging prototypes, and have some hardware experience. I graduate April 2024.

I'm an experienced business analyst and a project manager specialising on FinTech (stock trading apps, crypto) and RegTech (risk management, compliance) projects.
What I do:
- I talk to bussiness and other stakeholders their language and find out what they really want (even if their request is unclear as a winter sky).
- Produce a project plan/roadmap.
- Write documentation on business and functional requirements, and user stories, and create conceptual data models.
- Decompose requirements up to Jira tickets and produce task descriptions so clearly that even a junior can swallow them.
- Help with UAT, checking business logic of a solution.
- Write documentation of implemented solutions and features.
N.B. Currently in Singapore on a dependent visa.

Just graduated last year in CS, currently working on and off as an ICT consultant with local businesses and on personal projects. Mostly on Linux systems and industrial environment, but notable experiences are:
- Built and operating a web ordering platform (Laravel) with various custom integrations on sales, billing, and advertising platforms.
- Consultancy for an Industry4 project (basically an heavy machinery production management system)
- Operation support and system recovery for a custom internal management software (Flask)
- Software development for data gathering, storaging and analysis, notably onboard a drone as a companion, inside heavy machinery and in other industry related environments.
Huge drone nerd, especially FPVs and self built stuff, from hardware to software.
Currently looking for something i can apply what i love doing (i.e. web+embedded, like iot) as the market is very dry locally (either keep studying or jump in basic web stuff).
