Global Income Coin | Software Engineer & many more | Remote | Full Time | Non Profit | $100k+ Global Income Coin is a nonprofit startup striving to give every human on earth a dollar a day of income. We're launching a new coin called GLO, intended to be used for payments just like the dollar or the euro. As adoption grows, we can slowly create additional money and give this away for free, to people directly. Our toke…

>Verified humans get a weekly airdrop of GLO for free: that's the basic income. The value of the airdrops will depend, but we’re aiming for $7 per week.

why do you expect the typical recipient that can live off $7/week to do KYC, and then accept a new Ethereum based coin to survive?

why not skip the crypto bits and give $365/yr to people who need it?

DevOps Engineer ( Staking Engineer ) / Or Full Stack

Looking for a multiskilled DevOps Engineer to join our team to help configure, maintain and automate our infrastructure for staking, focused primarily on Ethereum (beaconchain). We would like to fully develop and automate our staking solution, with proper monitoring and fault tolerance infrastructure to minimize the risks of protocol penalties.

If you are interested in scaling up your career while helping the Ethereum network to scale and transition to Proof of Stake (PoS), this role is for you.

This is a full-time remote-first position, with team members in Toronto and Montreal, Canada.

Recurve | Senior Software Engineer | REMOTE (US time zones) | Full time | https://www.recurve.com

Recurve is a climate innovator that quantifies and rewards the actions of a huge variety of companies that are able to reduce or shift commercial and residential energy demand during periods of high cost and carbon-intensity.

Dominant industry paradigms for managing energy demand poorly align and poorly target incentives for reaching the scale we need to make a dent in our climate problems. We are fixing this by opening up energy data, rewarding strong performers, and reducing barriers to market entry.

We are a growing team of skilled technologists and thoughtful innovators. We are proud of our positive company culture and invite candidates who will add to our culture. We closed our Series B funding round earlier this year.

Come help us build out our open source energy modeling software and internal data modeling pipelines!

Product Creation Studio | Embedded Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Director | Seattle, WA (South Lake Union) | Full-Time | Onsite Hybrid

Product Creation Studio https://www.productcreationstudio.com/ is a smaller, bootstrapped Seattle company that specializes in New Product Development (NPD), updates to existing products, and providing engineering services in related areas. We have full-service electrical and firmware engineering, mechanical engineering, and industrial design teams in one shared office. Our focus areas are medical, industrial, and consumer products. These are often truly new products, things that have never been on the market before, so we have to put the R in R&D.

An awesome product that I worked on: https://www.productcreationstudio.com/product-creation-glass...

Positions:

Senior EE - you don't need hand holding anymore, you can drop in most situations and figure out how to move forward. You're good at wrangling Altium's OutJobs, or at least good enough to have won a few Pyrrhic victories. We are specifically looking for someone who has been around the block a few times (or maybe I should say, been in the EMC chamber alone a few times). If you don't meet the requirements on the formal posting but think you'd be pretty great... email me, and while you're at it tell me the coolest EE thing you've seen this week.

Senior FW/Embedded - you like C and/or C++. You've done Bluetooth. You can tell your PICs from your ARMs and you know which one you like better. You probably haven't done Android or iOS work (it's not part of this role). We usually work on little things here: 1MB of Flash is pretty big, and don't get me started on having 1MB of RAM. You know the difference between your J-Link Base and your ST-Link v2. If I make you use an oscilloscope, you won't even bat an eye.

EE/FW Director - you'll be managing the combined Electrical and Firmware team. (Including me.) You need to have strong people skills, a good memory for detail or good notepad, a great Rolodex, and the ability to whisper in the ears of clients. You should have prior experience as an EE or FW engineer yourself, even if it was ages ago. You know how to write or review a project schedule. Also, you're not afraid to step into the shoes of someone who was pretty sharp.

Remote work: for the above three positions, there is an expectation that you will be in office as needed for hardware work, occasional client meetings, and (possibly) a weekly team meeting. Most people work remotely regularly, but hardware work happens in the office and you'll be a hardware person. (This tends to come in bursts.) Hours are flexible (within reason) as long as everything gets covered. If you prefer to be in the office regularly (I do), that's also an option.

Please send me an email if you're interested, or read the descriptions on our website: https://www.productcreationstudio.com/careers. If anything on the website is unclear, don't hesitate to contact me, and I will not hesitate to be honest with you :)

We are also hiring for a Project Manager or Quality Engineer, but I'm not directly in the loop for those positions, so it would be best to apply directly (I'd still be happy to hear from you though!).
