While we deeply care about the environmental & ethical implications of transitioning from industrial animal agriculture, we also think the only way to get mass adoption of alternatives is if we can create something people will selfishly want for taste / nutrition / cost / other selfish reasons - think Tesla's approach to electric cars (record beating acceleration etc) or adoption of solar (massive adoption once cheaper than coal).
