Getsafe | Senior JavaScript Engineer, Ruby Backend Engineer | Heidelberg, Germany ONSITE (can help with relocation) or REMOTE (Germany/UK)| https://hellogetsafe.com/career

Getsafe is a fully digital insurance company that allows you to cover yourself and your universe simply from your smartphone. Opt in, opt out, switch it, change it, make it yours. It’s 100% digital, you know exactly what is covered and what is not, and you pay only for what you need when you need it.

Our tech stack is React/React Native and Ruby/Rails running on Heroku. We're looking for engineers to help us build a more scalable frontend and backend so we can keep expanding to new insurance products and markets (we recently went live with car insurance in Germany among others). Insurance is one of those things a lot of people look at as boring, but we're looking to make it easy and fun for people.

Paxos Trust Company | Security & Site Reliability Engineer (SSRE) | New York City | Remote or NYC area | Full Time | https://www.paxos.com/careers/role/?gh_jid=4883718002

Paxos enables enterprises to integrate cryptocurrency buying, selling, holding and sending capabilities into their own applications. We manage the underlying regulatory and technological complexity of cryptocurrency markets with a turnkey, easy to integrate API-based solution.

Most recently, we built the engine behind Paypal's cryptocurrency wallet features[0].

We're hiring a "Security & Site Reliability Engineer"[1], a relatively new role forged out of lessons from the most recent Google SRE book, "Building Secure & Reliable Systems"[2]. We're looking for SREs who know how TLS works, can design and roll out BeyondCorp/Zero-Trust networks, appreciate the purpose of multi-party authorization, and can operate cryptographic key management systems like Hashicorp Vault.

If you're interested, apply to the job posting or (if you think SSRE might be a good fit) drop us a line at hn//paxos.com

We're hiring for a bunch of other positions as well - take a look at [3] for the list.

Inventables | REMOTE (US) | https://inventables.com

Inventables makes 3D carving machines and the software to create and carve designs using them. We've been growing quickly, and we have a great culture of creative people who like to make software and physical stuff. I've been here for four years, and I love working here - I think 2021 is going to be the most exciting year at the company.

If you're a programmer or designer who spends their evenings working with powertools or Aduinos, we definitely want to talk with you. If you don't even know what CNC is, but the idea of working on software that can turn computer-based designs into physical objects is exciting to you, we want to talk to you as well.

See current openings at https://boards.greenhouse.io/inventables or contact me directly at (david at inventables.com) for more information.
