I am a Full Stack Engineer with 10 years of experience working for world-class organizations like NASA and Verizon using a variety of different technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Python and related tools and frameworks. I've been working remotely for the last 7 years, and I've worked on several high traffic apps.

Recently, I was the lead developer on a contract for the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, rebuilding an app used to collect map data in areas affected by humanitarian crises. Since that was a short-term contract, I am now looking for my next role at a world-class company.

I live in Zurich since 5 years and am German. I never experienced anything like that. The Swiss are very polite and if you follow the rules, you will be fine.

What people miss is that Zurich has more foreigners than London or Berlin. 40% have no Swiss passport. It is actually the most international city in Europe.
