If this position is actually for a full-time employee in San Francisco and the travel is required of the employee, which it sounds like it is ("every year we take the company overseas for a month (on your own dime, sorry) and work incredibly hard ..."), Expensify might want to speak with a competent employment attorney about California Labor Code section 2802 sooner than later.

Not sure why everyone is so anti-travel here - the offshore perk is what initially drew me to Expensify (what other company in the world pays you to travel??) and after going on it this past month, I can say without a doubt it's a really amazing opportunity - if you don't believe me check this out http://www.businessinsider.com/expensify-thailand-railay-bea....

For those of you who don't like travel, you can go for as much or as little as you want (i.e. none at all). In addition to being in a place you've never been, it's a great way to get to know everyone in the company on a different level and hang out with people you might not necessarily work with on a day-to-day basis.

To each their own, but there are other aspects of our company that make it worth joining as well, and it shouldn't be overlooked if you don't like traveling!

Might as well just hang out a sign that says "we only hire single men in their 20s".

Actually, 3 of us will be fathers in the next 60 days.
