WunderGraph | https://wundergraph.com/ | Full-time | Senior Golang Engineer | Remote

WunderGraph is the BFF (Backend for Frontend) Framework. Our solution helps developers to manage the API Dependencies of their applications and create BFFs in no time. Our long term vision is to build GitHub for APIs, a collaboration platform for API creators and consumers.

At the core of our product is the "Engine", a Gateway/Compiler/AST Transformation Engine that translates between GraphQL, REST, Databases, SOAP, gRPC, AsyncAPI and more. Client Request -> AST -> Transformation -> Origin Request(s) -> Response Transformation.

This Engine allows our users to get one unified interface across all their API Dependencies, so you can easily use GraphQL or TypeScript (using our API ORM) as the "Frontend".

We're looking to expand our Engine Team to further improve the capabilities, add more possible data sources, like gRPC, Kafka, etc... Therefore, this job is not about creating web services and such, but rather deep dive into the world of ASTs, Transpilers, different API Protocols and such. I'm one of the founders (CEO) and would love working on this full time, but there's just so many other things that need to be done. We're currently 13 devs, with 3 focussing on the Engine.

Platform.sh | REMOTE | Full-Time | https://platform.sh

Platform.sh is a unified, secure, enterprise-grade platform for building, running and scaling fleets of websites and applications.

We serve thousands of customers worldwide including The United Nations, The Financial Times, Adobe Commerce/Magento, Shopware, Orange, University of Missouri and The British Council.

We are among the momentum leaders in Cloud PaaS according to G2 https://www.g2.com/categories/cloud-platform-as-a-service-pa...

Recently, we have finished $140 million series D funding.

Here's how it works (get a free trial and go crazy):

Pick a template from https://github.com/platformsh-templates and customize it (add your assets, specify infra) as per https://docs.platform.sh/overview/structure.html

Then push to your Platform.sh repo, BOOM! magic happens and you have a working site that you can branch, test, customize, go-live. Dead simple, you don't need Kubernetes, just basic git knowledge.

Tech stack is LXC with some Python awesomeness, Puppet, Ceph and GlusterFS. Tooling is in Python and Go. Yep, we are multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, ...).

What I love:

• Great work-life balance (remote only company, you can work on a contract, but you also get PTO incl. your national holidays, parental leave)

• Lots of smart people from around the world

• Work on interesting stuff

• Company shares (discretionary)

• Good comp package, pick your HW, get reimbursed for trainings and other stuff

Meliora Therapeutics | San Francisco, CA and Full Remote | Full-time

Meliora Therapeutics is leveraging modern biology and machine learning to drastically improve the efficiency of cancer drug development. In short, the vast majority of cancer drugs fail in clinical trials, and off-target effects are often to blame. We're using sophisticated genomic and machine learning techniques to accurately characterize how drugs affect cells and thereby to develop new drugs more efficiently. Our platform has already surfaced a number of interesting candidate drugs with promising laboratory validation and we are just getting started.

Our founding team has strong experience in software, machine learning, and biology developed through experience at Google, Verily, Benchling, and the Yale School of Medicine. We are moving with urgency to capitalize on the opportunity ahead of us after raising our $11mm seed round last year. We are backed by leading funds who were early investors in world class companies such as Gilead, Recursion, Insitro, Benchling, and others.

We're looking for talented, ambitious, and creative technical experts to join us in building a machine learning-driven cancer drug development engine. Some of our current open roles include: - Machine Learning Scientist (Graph Neural Networks, Multimodal ML) - Data Scientist - Computational Biology (oncology experience is a huge plus!)

See our careers page for information on these and other roles and to apply: https://www.melioratx.com/careers. Previous experience in biology or computational biology is not required for every role.

Inscopix | Embedded Software Engineer | Mountain View, CA or Vancouver, Canada (hybrid) | https://boards.greenhouse.io/inscopixinc/jobs/4751088004 Since 2011, Inscopix has been developing and providing neurotechnologies for real-time brain mapping. Inscopix’s flagship products, nVista and nVoke, have been deployed in over 500 research institutions across the world resulting in over 85 top-tier scientific publications…

I know it’s an embedded role, but there’s no chance of opening this up to fully remote is there? It looks like a great fit for my skill set but I can’t leave the east coast at the present time.

I love the detail of the `You:` section. I am 35 (almost 36) years ago, still friends with guys from Uni, and UNTIL THIS DAY, I complain about how they didn't deep dive Pthreads and Linux programming in our Operating Systems classes.
