Location: Trento, Italy

Remote: Yes

Willing to relocate: Almost certainly not.

Technologies: Dart/Flutter in the last few years. Previously Ruby/Rails and the usual web tech along the way Postgres/AWS/ElasticSearch/Redis/React etc etc.

Résumé/CV: Previously worked on a large customer loyalty scheme (FlyBuys) and a train booking system (Loco2, then RailEurope) with both backend and frontend roles. In the last few years I discovered Flutter/Dart and have released a climbing app for Italy (Falesia), did some contracting work and am currently releasing my latest side project which is again climbing related (https://climblocator.com). I have contributed quite a lot to the flutter_map plugin and some of my own mapping related packages (https://pub.dev/publishers/balanci.ng/packages). I am most interested in roles that include Flutter/Dart. More formal CV available on request.

I love interesting problems and it's important for me to work on meaningful projects with a friendly and fun team. I am easy going and I value an environment where we collaborate to achieve the highest quality possible (solid PR reviews etc).

I am active in mountain sports and love to highline and run. I would consider full-time roles but am most interested in part-time (3 to 4 days a week) or contract work.

I am independent contractor looking for new challenges. We can easily start with part time job to minimize the risk for you and me and it may develop into a fulltime gig later on. I worked for 10 years in a coorporate Java ecosystem followed by being a technical cofounder in a Twitter-like social network. Beside programming I managed teams of up to 5 people, loved to work closely with UI and UX and got my BSC and MSC inbetween.

I would love to have a quick video call to see if there is a fit :)

Hello, I am a mid-level (~4 years of professional Experience) Developer, with mostly professional experience in Lower-level Programming (currently, C++) and Back-end Development (Go, C++, C# and a bit of vanilla Javascript). I code in my spare time, love to do that, and have recently (Oct '22) started to more regularly contribute to open-source projects, in which i have also learned Rust quite a bit better and enjoy my journey so far.

I would say i have a strong system-programmer mindset, however, i believe that my area of interest for a Full-Time job would be more in the area of backend development.

I also have a very deep interest for Cybersecurity topics, Games and even good engineering practices.
