Location: San Francisco Bay Area Open to Remote: Yes Willing to Relocate: No Technologies: Computer Vision, Machine Learning, AR/VR, Video Streaming, Image/Video Processing, Codec, Mobile Apps, Signal Processing, Control, Communications, Ph.D. in ECE

I have over 8 years of experience working on AR/VR related technologies. My work primarily involves developing SDKs that bridge AR/VR algorithms and apps, as well as implementing computer vision algorithms. My algorithmic approach heavily relies on deep learning networks. Therefore, my computer vision tasks include data collection, model design, training, and deployment on mobile platforms. Prior to my work in AR/VR, I specialized in video codecs and video streaming. I have contributed to Veetle’s online video streaming platforms and projects used in PlayStation consoles. I have worked for Oppo, uSense, Magic Leap, Veetle, Intersil, Magnum Semiconductor, and Sony. Operating Systems: I am most comfortable working with Android, but I also have experience with iOS. Languages: I am proficient in C/C++, Python, Java, and SIMDs like NEON. I am comfortable both leading an R&D team and working as an individual contributor. I strongly believe that the major challenges of AR/VR will soon be overcome, making it the next big thing.

About 12 years of Python experience. More recent experience has been machine learning, data science, and data engineering focused. Trying to continue on that trajectory and also break more into the LLM space. Like everyone, I've been pretty excited by all the recent developments there. Have a solid understanding of deep learning concepts and theory. Have been hitting the books pretty hard on transformer models. Can't wait to break into that space! Looking for lead or higher roles.

Technologies: Unreal Engine 5 Blueprints, Unity C# VR, OpenAI GPT API + python script for AI processing startups, basic Cloud hosting + Linux for lightweight NodeJS/php routing backend, Photoshop + Blender for beautiful design and visual content. I am a peaceful spirit, and then also a dedicated poet (thu I fail at it lavishingly).

Résumé: I build fun stuff, exclusively. I'm a KISS proponent, I believe in low-friction coding. The product before everything, thu I'm Junior when it comes to serious stuff. I am very passion driven but not very rigorous. I hate convolutions. I can't compete with the other guys about mostly the paperwork, but I'm on disability so I don't have to. I like my fellow nerds, and I'm only interested in healthy, peaceful, inclusive environments. (and ambitious in scope).

More than a job I strive to meet passion driven people, to change the world with our ethical products. This is what motivates me.

See you around
